Applegrove, Amrest Violates workers rights and will lie about how they terminate employees

Was asked to come to work by the GM in Jan 09... I just moved back to GA to be closer to family and I needed a part time job so I didnt turn it down. I accepted the job for temp... The manager I worked for was known to be cold-hearted and showed favoritism towards her workers. Things went down hill after May, I was harassed and assaulted on company property by an co-worker, I was slammed into the POS system and customers witnessed this, even some customers contacted my father. My father came up and the management team stated Paul was having a "bad" day and I should just let it blow over. NOW Paul cussed me out for a good ten minutes on the floor and slammed me into the computer system to where guest could see it repeatably. Paul was waiting on me in the parking lot at 5pm for me to get off of my shift, no one on the management team helped what so ever. Paul was not fired or anything, he continued to work with us for another month and then he decided to leave work.

In Sept. 2009 I had to file an restraining order on an co-worker who was an ex friend of mine since he was harassing my family and myself. Applebees told me I was going to loose my job on Sept 7 after I showed my Criminal Warrant to management. Its like the company dont care about the safety of their workers. Patsy the GM talked to members of management and I guess they figured they didnt want to fire me then since I could most def. Get unemployment. So on Sept 16 Brandon (the guy I filed the restraining order on) and I was working together and he sat his friends in my section!!!

He made comments to the table such as I filed an restraining order against him because I was afraid of him kicking my ass and such, I made the comment I wasnt afraid of him. The key hourly over heard this and I was terminated with out any explanation on my POV or anything. They fired me and didnt fire Brandon, since he was in the military. I find it strange at how I was told not even 2 wks before I was getting fired for doing something that was protecting my safety, and then I am getting fired for false accusation. I was denied unemployment since I was in "workplace misconduct, threatened physical violence towards co-worker".

LOL now get this the GM lied all over my unemployment papers... She didnt even state that I had showed where I filed an restraining order or anything against Brandon, and she even tried to back date my term of unemployment to 08/16/09. So she tried to say I got fired on Aug 16 not Sept 16 so it would make my restraining order not in effect, and she has even locked files such as my schedules and paycheck stubs to where I cant get any info about that day... LOL sounds like someone is trying really hard to cover up their tracks, and take rights away from employees, and by the way I am not the first person this has been done to.

I have been told by many people (customers and co-workers included) that I have a lawsuit but I dont know how to go through with this... Because this company just seems like they take none of the employees rights into consideration.
