Back in December we purchased 10 Power Cell Antique Gas Pump Vending machines from Patrick Wherley and the Energy Company. We payed what was, for us, a huge amount of money. Total cost $25,000 and part of the agreement was that Pat Wherley would assist us in getting the franchise going and give us the support we need as problems or questions came up. From the start, we have regretted doing business with the Energy Company, because they have made it quite clear that they were only interested in getting the money and as soon they had it the support stopped. They have not been honest from day one. They gave an extremely inflated report of what the machines should bring in as well as the ease of getting the business going. They were extremely late in getting the machines to us in the beginning and since then they have provided none of the support we were promised. I have called numerous times with no answer. The only way he would take my call is if I blocked him from seeing my number. When I did speak with him, he promised so send information and has failed to deliver both times. I deeply regret doing business with him or his company and wish to warn anyone else that this is something to steer clear of. You are only asking for trouble when dealing with these people.
