Customer Service In English Not An Option Would I come into your country and expect you to speak my language?

I've had it. I'm frustrated and fed up with certain people in this country. The country that I, and others serve on a daily basis. The country that several of my closest friends died for.

If you come to MY country at least make an attempt to learn the language. I know of at least one person who has taken the time and invested the effort to learn to speak ENGLISH, and for that I applaud him.

Secondly, if you come to The United States of America: recognize that your speaking skills may not be up to par with the rest of society. DO NOT CHOOSE CUSTOMER SERVICE AS YOUR PROFESSION! I'm sick of it!!!

Case in point: Today I'm packing up my house to make another move to another state. I thought it'd be a good idea to order a sub party platter from Quizno's. That way my family and those helping me could snack all day while packing. So... I call up the local Quizno's and right away I can tell I'm not speaking to a "local from North Carolina". I had a very hard time understanding her, and I asked her more than once to verify my order. After repeated attempts she reassured me that she had all my info.

I just got home, and after checking my party platter that I paid $43.00- it's not even close to what I ordered!!!

The bottom line is - take the time to learn the language, or don't take a customer service job, or get the hell out!
