When ordering a pie with 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage, being charged for 2 toppings!

When ordering a pizza pie with toppings, BEWARE! If you order 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage, or any 1/2 and 1/2 pie, you will be charged for 2 toppings. (When in reality, it is only equal to 1 ingredient)

On 10-27 at 17:15pm, my wife called to order a pie as described above and was told she would be charged for 2 toppings so she cancelled the order. I called back and asked for a manager and spoke with Lisa, who was very nice and I explained the situation and she told me they put more cheese on 1 side of the pie when a 1/2 of a topping is ordered so it cooks evenly.

I explained again that I was ordering 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sausage on the same pie, so it would actually be 1 topping at 1/2 each and should be able to cook evenly and I was being charge for 2 toppings instead of 1. I also told her that there is no one else that charges for 2 toppings when you order 1/2 and 1/2. Lisa did understand at this point and agreed with me. Lisa asked me to hold on and said she was going to ask someone else and would be back. James picked up the phone and I explained the same situation. James, who was also very nice, basically told me the reason is because they use quality ingredients.

Am I missing something? You are ordering 1/2 and 1/2, which equals 1 topping and being charged for 2! BEWARE all you customers who go to Nick's! This has been going on since they have been in business. Just think of how much money they are over charging customers. This should be ILLEGAL!!! I will no longer be going to Nick's for pizza. It's a shame, the pizza is really good, but I do not like being ripped off and will stand my ground on this one.

I have lived in alot of different parts of the country, have been around for a long time, have been to 100's of Pizza Restaurants, have taken out Pizza, have had it delivered and HAVE NEVER BEEN CHARGED FOR 2 TOPPINGS WHEN ORDERING 1/2 AND 1/2. Being told it was the quality of the ingredients is beyond me.
I rest my case.
