Denny's
Discrimination

On 8/3/06 at or about 2A.M. I decided to go to Denny's to order take home order of French Toast breakfast. As I enterd Denny's to make my order a Black waitress told me that "You cannot eat in my restaurant with a outside cup". I mean real rude like.in a unprofessional like way. I did have a cup in my hand.

I am a Black man. If they did have such a policy, she when in about a rude like way to let me know. Would she have informed a White individual about that cup in the same rude like way. I felt belittled, stepped on, and downright prejudiced.

I am a dialysised patient and at time feel downright awful after sitting or lying in a reclyend chair 4 12 hour while the machine clean all the impurities and poisions out of my blood. So after going by the ATM machine to draw out so money to eat, (cause my SSI money will not delivered to my bank account until 12 AM or midnight Thursday morning), I needed to get some food to help pep me up.

As I said before the waitress, who's Black informed me that I could not eat in her Denny's cause I had a outside cup I my hand. So I just turned around, got in my truck an went to the International house of pancakes, and ordered and a french toast, bacon, hash brown potatoes, scrambled eggs, and I left the a more than normal tip. And was in formed by their staff that they do no have a policy about a no outside cup policy. I got in touch with a lawyer who's a well I'll call is a friendof mine, and he said that I should get in touch with the state attorney office to file on Denny's.

I wanted to file a discriminitory suit against Denny's or seek so kind of relief from Denny's if it's possible. I reilly felt downright mentally awful after that waitress talked to me in such a way.

One day that waitress will talk to someone, not me, in such a rude way and that person may have had a bad day and something awfully bad may jump off or may happen. I am seeking some relif in this matter. Two heads are better than one.
