Joel's Deli - ripoff - Fraudulent Catering

Joel's Delicatessen advertises catering services. On Friday December 16, an order was placed for a catered red velvet cake for pickup on December 21. Payment was made by cash, only option by Joel's.

However, on Thursday December 22, while at the Sam's Club, it was noticed on display in the bakery section, the very same cake that I had purchased from Joel's with the exact decorations, and that the cake was selling for $12.36. Joel's had charged me a total of $21.95. This price was confirmed with me by the manager prior to making purchase on December 21 by return response via my voice mail.

After identifying this cake at Sam's, immediately I tried to contact Joel's to inform the overcharge, assuming maybe they sold me the wrong cake. No one was available for resolution. However after further view of the cake purchased from Joel's, it was noticed that the label on the cake container had been torn off and removed to hide this was a store bought item.

Also, when I further reviewed my receipt of purchase, I noticed the charges indicated soup in the amount of $5.00. Four entries are reflected.

It is evident that this was not a mistake, because of the wrong entries reflected on my receipt and the label on the cake removed so that I could be charged a catering price.

I would like a refund of $21.95 for charges of fraudulent catering and because Joel's did not inform that they did not have my order available on the date requested, but proceeded to mislead the customer and overcharge for a non-catered item from another store.
