Manager giving work performance in front of customers - customer service

I went in to place an order but had not yet decided when I watched a manager at the front counter tell a new employee she has been here only 2 weeks and she needs to pick up the pace. What I heard next shocked me: " I have something on my mind and Im just gonna tell you straight up you talk to the customers way to much when placing there orders you really need to learn to just SHUT THE FUCK UP and quote" The girl aplogized and went crying to the back I felt sorry for her and Ive been trying to call the store to get the franchise owners name but it goes straight to voicemail. This is no way encouraging to the new employee this is intimidation
