My fiance and I received coupons in the mail, inviting us to come into our local store for a Buy One Get One Free deal. We went in, and were discussing how the particular coupon worked (what we had to order to get the deal) in front of the employee right before we ordered. She took our order, made the sandwiches, and then when she rang us up she told us the coupon didn't apply to "Premium Sandwiches". When I asked her where it said that on the coupon (it did not, it said "any sandwich"), she changed her story and said her store didn't participate in that offer or accept the coupons. A minute later, she told the employee next to her it was because they were "Premium" sandwiches, so it seems to me that she was lying to us to get us to pay and leave.

This, to me, is just terrible customer service and dishonest behavior. The employee knew we were going to use the coupon before she took our order, and chose not to tell us. Since we're honest people, we didn't feel we could leave the restaurant without paying. We would not have even ordered as much food if it weren't for the coupon.
