Intuit Payment Solutions Credit debt reduction scam conned out of credit card numbers charged $969.00 for cd-rom we did not request or want

Business & Finance

Contacted by phone from American education services, Intuit Payment solutions Burbank Boulevard, Suite 100 Woodland Hills, California 91367. And 1261 E Dyer Road Suite 230 Santa Ana, California 92705 Ph-800-606-5120 Fax 800-606-5131 Was told by James #1722 that he could reduce my credit card payments.

This American Educational services told me they could help lower my credit card bills. I fell for the trap; they required me to give them all of my personal information including my credit card numbers and account information. They kept telling me this would not affect my credit rating at all, then "James" went through 10 pages on the internet with me in less than 10 minutes on the phone while I was at work. I clicked accept at the end of the conversation believing everything he stated was the truth. Then I received a booklet through the mail from a different company called Consumer Alliance Processing Corporation
with a 14-page outline of my consolidation of my debt.

During their welcome call I learned that this could possibly affect my credit rating that I had to decline this services because I told them from the start that if it would affected my credit rating then I wasn't going to do this. This company Consumer Alliance Processing Corporation understood this, but "James" with American Education services was mad because I had to stop this deal. I received a CD-rom in the mail "Practical Finance " I did not order this and I did not want this. There was not a bill in the envelope or any paper work with it. I did not open the CD-rom because I did not order this.in November, I noticed that there was a charge of $969 on my Capital 1 credit card and it was an online transaction for David K. Scott. We rarely use the credit card for online purchases so I called Capital 1 to inform them of the fraudulent charges. They checked into this matter and discovered if was from American Educational Services. They said it was not fraudulent because
we signed for it (the CD-rom) from FedEx. Capital one told us to return the CD to the company so we did. American Educational services said that we have to wait until they disputed is settled before they can summit request a refund, that all of this can take up to 120 days. They charged my credit card without my permission and knowledge for this CD.
