Ripoff fraudulent billing fake Visa application

My girlfriend went to sign up for a "Platinum Visa Card" today and was automatically billed $150 by electronic check. Confused, she immediately informed me of the charge, and I went in search of this "USA Credit" card online. After following the link provided in the email, I was redirected to www.usashoppingclub.com and found it to be a ripoff buying club. The $7500 in credit she was assigned was for no card at all but for purchases from this website.

However, all items are on sale and purchases must be paid in full making this credit absolutely useless. I then found the company and many complaints on this website so I immediately called my girlfriend and told her to call the company to demand cancellation of the membership and incurred costs. After offering her a payment plan, they final agreed to cancel the charge, but as a precautionary measure, we're going to our bank to premptively warn them of the fraudulent and unautorized electronic check.
