MBNA Credit Card - ripoff again MBNA Wilmington

MBNA aka "Most Brazen Nasty *ss" pitched me their latest greedy grab this month to change my billing date to as early as twenty days after the last billing date. They may also bill me later. This snares people who have trouble remembering a constantly changing due date, and especially penalizes people on fixed incomes.

They have increased my APR three times in the past two years from 9.99% to 19.99% without cause, and are now threatening to raise it again to 21.99%.

MBNA is especially odious to raise interest based any late payment made to anyone and reported to the credit bureau. I know that NICOR gas reports late payments to credit bureaus. I suspect they all do. This is usurious because some people actually dispute payments to others especially with phone company and in my case an insurance company who would not pay up because of a paperwork snag.

I opted out by letter mailed in their deadline, but this never stopped them from raising it in the past. I am forced to take an early withdrawal from my retirement fund to pay them off. They are charging me more interest than my retirement fund will ever pay. Did I mention that I am permanently disabled?

MBNA president/CEO/whatever is a huge contributor to the Bush campaign.
