Ripoff

This company is claiming that I owe them $80 from 1996 from a subscription to The Sporting News. I explained to them that I received this publication from around 1994 to 2000 and always paid on time. I asked them why they are calling me after all this time and they claimed they have been trying to "track me down" for years.

When I told them to send me something in writing about this account they told me that if I don't send them a check within 7 days they were going to put this unpaid debt on my credit report. I was then told if I want to dispute this bill to send them a letter of dispute to an address in Chandler, AZ and a copy of this letter to the Peoria address. I asked again for them to send me something in writing to reference this so-called bill and was told they could not do that.

After finding out that they are on your radar screen, they won't get a dime from me, just a call to my attorney general's office!
