In the spring of Ocwen claimed that I had missed four payments out of a total of 26 at that time. My bank account records, produced and sent to this unscrupulous, amoral banking institution, showed that I had made 24 out of 26 payments.

On top of that, the first month they claimed I was late was the initial month after the refi! Absurd, indeed.

I wrote a motion that set aside the first Rule 120 hearing because I hadn't been Noticed. The judge granted my motion setting aside the Rule 120 to forclose. Then the process starts over, and they offer a forebearance agreement that after reading through there was no way on God's green earth I could sign and agree to.

I have always wanted to cure with the lender but feel that I should not have to pay them money I've already paid, No. 1; and No. 2, rectify gross interest fees on all the payments since that time that they have refused to accept.

They sent letters dated the end of August that were not postmarked until after Sept. 7, which certainly shortened the amount of time I had to try to work things out. And that's just the tip of this ugly iceberg.

I have temporarily stayed the sale of my home by filing bankruptcy, a move I tried to avoid. Even though it's very likely I will lose my home, I won't go down without fighting, just as I have all summer. At the very least, I wanted to add my name of the growing number of victims Ocwen has preyed upon.
