RIPOFF Called and said I was approved for a Mastercard with a credit limit of $2,000 for a one time fee of $249.00

I received a phone call at around 9:30 A. M MT on Saturday the 25th of September. He had a Middle-eastern accent and stated that he was with Centurion Financial Group. I was told by a man that I was approved for a MasterCard with a credit limit of $2,000.00. He stated that for a one time fee of $249.00 I would received this card with no APR for the first three years, no monthly payments, and unlimited transfers. He wanted all my bank's information such as, account number, routing number, etc.

I am in somewhat of a financial bind so I didn't hesitate to give him this information. He transfered me to another employee to verify my information. He proceeded to put me in contact with an automated line that verified my information. This is what made me think it wasn't a scam. Then the second employee put me back in contact with the original person. He gave me a conformation number that he said I would need to activate the card.

I don't know if this is or isn't a scam at this point. I am just submitting this because I havn't received my card yet, and I just read a report about the same company and the scam that sounded just like the phone call I got. I feel like a complete moron because when I was younger my parents warned me about these kind of scams.
