Told we still owe $11,000 on a $15,000 car

Drive's company blows. We bought a car in July for $15k and we are trying to trade it in for a new car, and they are telling us now, in 2004, that we still owe them $11k.

What kind of B.S. is this? We have only deferred 2 payments, and they say we have only paid $4,447 in the past 3 years. Have they lost their minds?

Also, when we called to get the payoff info, they told my husband that we could not trade the car in. I told him whatever, and we went to the car dealers, and they had no problem with us trading the car in. Even so, we could not, because Drive was saying that we still owed $11k and the car is only worth $4,800. They suck and we need to come up with a way to get the doors closed on this company.

Do not use this company ever!!!
