CCS Credit Service Division
Rip-off nwatch out for marketing opt out option

Business & Finance

I too recieved the pretty blue card in the mail today offering me $6500.00 credit line. $99.00 annual fee, no interest rate ever, waiver of the $200.00 sign up fee if making $500.00 or more purchase. Sounds great (to good to be true) look out folks!
Here's the real scarry part. On the ccs privacy policy inclosure one section begins "if your approval number" and so forth, i discovered an opt out number at the end of this statement. It references transunion and credit bureau, as the place to call for your opt out option notification and lists an 800 number to call. I called and started providing information requested until i was asked for my ssn, at which point i stopped talking to the machine and hung up. Please be careful, i do not know the validity of the number i called nor their true intentions. The number is 800 567 8688, again it is totally automated and asks you to press buttons on the phone and answer questions to have your name removed from their list for 2 years.
