Immoral dishonest fraudulent and worse! Brenda Reid and Teresa White of KRT ripped me off!

I found an advertisement for KRT financial group in the Colorado Daily, a paper that I trust. I went to their website and filled out an application. Hoping that they could help me without having to get a co-signer.

Now I will be the first to admit-I have lousy credit. So, I was hoping to get a loan and pay off my debts and use the remainder of the loan as a down payment. I knew that more than likely this was unrealistic, but I applied.

The very next day I received a phone call from Brenda Reid with KRT financial group. She explains that she received my application and that due to my poor credit I had two options. The first was a cosigner. I told her this was not possible.

The second? That I take out an insurance policy to secure the loan. I asked her for how much and she told me for $1000.10. I figured I could go ahead and do that since I was getting paid in 2 days. Sure, I wouldn't have my rent but there was a 3 day grace period and I could pay rent once I got my loan. So I told Brenda that was do-able.

She faxed me all the documentation so I figured everything was legitimate. There was even an insurance policy from Teffen, Brout and Associates. I figured everything was kosher and sent them the money via Western Union.

That was when everything changed. After she received the money she told me it was going into my account and I would have it in the morning. I called to double check that everything was received and she said "oh I think so but it's not in my hands anymore." 2 days past, no loan.

I call again. After 2 weeks of this, she passes me onto a woman named Teresa White who I called and left a message for. She called me back and told me that I needed to pay more insurance.

I noticed that when she called she had the exact same phone number as Brenda, and sounded like her too. I told her that's ok Brenda, just wire me back my money. And she went ballistic on me saying "don't call me Brenda I'm Teresa" and I would get a check in 45 days. Obviously I never received that check.

I can't believe I was such a sucker. And it sucks too because I was evicted from my apartment and I have an outstanding check that the person has told me they will turn into to the Police for fraud. I am hoping if I go talk to him he will give me a chance to repay him.
