Beware of rogues and money laundering creditcard co. Aka

I recieved this postcard in the mail oneday for a creditcard to rebuild my credit. I called the number and gave them all the info that was required to obtain this card. The represenative said that the fee was $229.

She also said to cancel the card besure to call at least 24 hours prior to the date that the money is suppose to be drafted.

Well i agreed to have the money drafted then i decided to change my mind and that i didn't want the card after all. I called and canceled like three days after the phone call, the represenative assured me that i didn't have to worry about the money being drafted.

I even asked for some documentation that i would not be charged and he said don't worry i took care of all of that for you. Then about two weeks later i foud that americred had taken the money any way.

I called and they told me that i would have to wait for the packet to arrive in about three weeks and follow the instructions in the packet to obtain my money back.

I ended up waiting like eight weeks and then when i got the packet it wasn't even a credit card it was a merchandise card. The instructions stated that i would have to send a dated telegram of my cancelation or a cancelation notice.

Well needless to say there was no one in this area that does telegrams and they did not include a cancelation notice in the original packet.

Don't fall for this scam like i did be smart and think twice before you send any money to this company. Beware of americred!!!
