Work at home ripoff scam

I was mailed a flyer to stuff envelopes for 2 dollars an
envelope. I was told to send 46 dollars as an show of good faith. I was told it was a reimbursable deposit. So I sent them a check.
As of September 10th they cashed the check. I have not
recieved anything from them. Somehow I felt like this was a scam.
