Is sneaky! Rip-off!

I recently receive a pre-approval for $10,000 w / a yearly fee of $37 that I had to send now to get the account. I have seen a lot of these "for our merchandise only" credit cards, but this one is the sneakiest. I thought that it was unusual to receive such a huge pre-approval b/c I had recently filed bankruptcy and it hasn't even been discharged yet. I also thought that it was unusual because they didn't send a "sample catalog" to see what we can buy. When you go to their website, you have to actually apply for the card before you can see the catalog.

In my research of this, I came upon usacomplaints.com and I am so thankful. I could have applied for this credit card to help improve my credit rating, but now I see it would have been a big mess. My heart goes out to those who got ripped off. It's not fair to pay $40-$100 and get nothing but problems. It is our hard earned money, not theirs.
