I purchased a 2003 Chevy Impala vehicle from JD Byrider in 2009 with 90,000 miles on it because I desperately needed transportation to work. Payed all payments on time for 3 years straight. All cars through JD are all priced at over $10,000. Even if its a 1997. Its how they make there profit by selling old cars at new prices. The car I had I spent thousands of dollars extra on to maintenance the vehicle for things that broke on the car. My issue is that on my last year of paying the vehicle off I moved out of town and was late making a payment. When I called them to make my payment I was treated terribly. Very rude and disrespectful as if I didn't pay 3 years straight ON TIME. At the end of the day we are all human and everyone in this world has been behind on 1 bill before. That bothered me because they didn't have the decency to show me some respect after paying on time for 3 years straight. I was questioned why I was late as if I were a 5 year old and even told " Nobody told you to get a car from us!" My last few months left on my car note they began to find little reasons to bother me like sending them insurance they never asked for for 4 years because it wasn't required by the state and other little nagging things. I cleaned up my credit and went to the Ford Dealership and got me a 2012 and traded in my car from JD Byrider only to find I payed $16,000 for a car worth $2500. The Ford Dealership commended me for paying that much on a car not worth anything. Now that the car is traded in and they are receiving there pay off check they called the new dealership harrassing them asking did my new car loan yo through, was I making the same amount of money, they need to speak to the bank that. Approved my new loan... Crazy things. I am done doing business with them and there still harrassing me. I have so much disguist and hate in my heart for this company. They prey on ppl that are in bad situation and charge them thousands for old cars that are not worth it and are rude, mean, and disrespectful. I would advise anyone to find other options before going through them because they have no care for there customers.
