Consumer credit noting but a catalog

I received a letter in the mail a month ago saying i was qualified for a credit card with a credit limit of 5,000. Christmas was coming and i needed some help. So i sent the 43.00 they ask for, so it will be sent quickly. And nothing. Finally just last week i got a package from them with a catalog in it. And no phone number anywhere! They are a complete rip off. I thought i was getting a major bank card. It was for merchandise only. But i would never use it. They just want to steal your money. I hope we find them soon, cause i want my money back! On top of this, two 39.00 dollar encriments is mysteriously missing out of my checking account. I feel so dumb that i even did this.
