Scoresense.com Idenity Theif Scam?

I received an e-mail alerting me to possible identity theft showing on my Credit Report. I was innstructed to click on the web site to receive a free report with $1 to be charged just to verify that I was the correct person and that the $1 would be refunded.

I received the credit reports and there was no activity out of the ordinary. I felt all was ok. Five days later I received a charge of $29.95 on my credit card for a monthly service. I called Scoresense and was told that I was outside the cancelation period and the only thing they could was give me their basic plan for $1.95 per month, which I reluctantly agreed to. Two days later I received an e-mail stating that they had decided to refuse my cancelation and I would have to pay the full amount, no refund would be issued.

This is a TOTAL SCAM. I am only one of possibly thousands who have been scammed by this crooked company.
