I recieved a phone call from Mr. King stating he was a lawyer attempting to collect a debt, and if i did not comply I would be seveved court papers as early as tomarow. I know these people can not threaten anyone its all a scar tatic, so me being me, asked him if John (My countys civil deputy) would be serving me the papers, or would it be one of the other deputys that i know. I started naming all the sheriffs that I knew and he said "Why would you want to know all those " Cops " and I explained I'm a vol firefighter and I get to meet all of them at some point, but anyways he said i had a debt from capital one from which was $1264.00 he said i owed $10,998 due to intrest fees and such. But he was " authorized " to just take $6000... He then asked me for my credit card info which i laughed at him and he said " you think some things funny?" I said I think I'm going to call the sheriffs office to verify who you are then I will call back... He then said " You have until 10am tomarrow to have the payment or we will see you in court... And I said " I'll call John in the morning and hung up...
