SCAM mortgage company! Took fees, never closed!

This company advertises very deep discounts on mortgage refi's and original home mortgages. I began the process of trying to close a construction home loan into permanent financing with them. Great rate, had to pay $495 (too high!) for an appraisal, and then company NEVER closed loan.

I waited six months before pulling the plug on them. They never asked for more paperwork, but everytime I asked for status on the loan from the broker, I got the run-around! Delays, didn't answer my calls, never returned calls, etc., etc.

This cost me the construction loan, as that bank forced payment due to the long delay in time. I disputed the appraisal fee and never got it back (because they never closed the loan and you cannot use another appraisal if the bank didn't order it themselves). TOTAL ripoff company! Stay away!
