CCA Credit Svc Division, RIP-OFF Attempted credit card and consumer fraud

I just received interesting new credit and consumer scam already documented by you, fellow usacomplaints.com members! Keep up the great work.

This is a hurtful scam that appears to especially target young adults! My child received this card today in the mail. It has a $99.00 ANNUAL fee for starters which is it's own rip.

The only thing you can buy with this card is merchandise through this company. They don't even have a web site yet! The first thing you are asked if you call their number is the number on the card and the activation information. They will not tell you anything without activating your card. Too late then.

That's not all! When you activate the card, you are also billed $199 for an ACTIVATION FEE. That's right $99 plus $199. Reading further in the fine print, you had better hold onto your hat: the MINIMUM monthly payment is "$200 with only $50 billed for catalog purchases or 10 percent of the entire balance whichever is GREATER."

I am hoping some of you Nevada residents will contact your State's ATTORNEY GENERAL and other regulatory agencies including your State's corporation commission. This appears to be a nationwide scam that appears to originate in Nevada.
