After entering into a forbearance agreement, they mis-applied the certified funds, are currently holding $449 of the $1,200 I sent in NOV in a "suspense" account without notification, nor interest on the money held in suspense, which kicked the property back into a forclosure status, hired attorney firm PARKER McCAY in NJ to issue a certified 30 day demand to cure the default at $4,362. The demand letter states I have 30 days to cure the default which would be March 16 but AHMSI sent it to next step Feb 29 anyway.
The attorney at Parker McCay refused to conference call with the lender to get the correct figures requested to cure the default and refused to assist in curing the default upon another HOPE NOW conference call and has refused other calls despite stating I am PRO SE.
AHMSI refused any payment stating 6,013 to cure default which included $1701 in additional "attorney and foreclosure costs" despite the PA Act 6 law and certified letter from Attny acting in conjunction with the lender as a debt collector.
AHMSI, together with Parker McCay Attorney at Law, acting as debt collectors, engaged in purposeful, willful misrepresentation of facts causing confusion as to the amounts needed to bring the mortgage current / total reinstatement amount, and made unreasonable demands to cure defaults accelerating a timetable to cure said default earlier than the 30 day demand in the certified "Notice of Intent" letter dated Feb 17th
Forbearance agreement diminishes consumer protections under original note, pattern of behavior is to deny the Forbearance agreements after the certified downpayment deposits are received by AHMSI, with no reason or notice given for terminating the forbearance agreement.
