Ripoff Fraudulant Guaranteed credit card limit SCHEME to bilk consumers for $299

I got a call in early April from Robert Donovan who claimed to be associated with a company who had just declined a crdit card application from me. Mr. Donovan told me that he was from Titan Financial and they had gotten my application and decided to help me get an un-secured credit card with a limit of $2500.

He said that since I had already applied for the card, they had all of my information.

He stated that there was a one time membership fee to them of $299 because they did hard to get credit card offers.

He told me that once they withdrew the money from my account, I would recieve my card in the mail within 10 business days.

On April 22, Titan Finacial withdrew the money from my checking account.

By May 22 I had received nothing from them. I called and was told it was on the way. I tried to tell them I didn't want it. The representative (female) told me to simply return it when I got it for a full refund. I asked when I would get my money back. She told me 15 business days after we get it back.

Two days later I got an envelope from them and returned it un-opened. I waited over a month until July 6th and still had heard nothing or gotten a refund. I called on July 6th and was told that a representative would call me back about my refund no later than July 7th.

Today is July 15th. I have not gotten a call. I have not gotten my money. I have tried for several days to contact Titan Finacial @ 800-410-1682 and the number appears to be out of service.
