Put simply, the company called me and proposed to reactivate my credit by giving me a Credit Card.in this first communication with the company, they promised to give me a $6500 limit on this card, and also they told me that they needed my checking account number right away for security purposes.
I definitely wanted to restablish my credit and I decided to take the offer, only to find out a month later that this supposed "credit card" that I got in the mail was only allowed for use with a catalog from CCS, which had only overpriced products, and also that the CCS had debited my account with $129.99 as an "activation" fee.
I tried to contact them back to ask for this fee that I never authorized, and they told me that they debited this amount from my account because I authorized it.
Now I have to find out what I can do to get my money back...
