Bogus Signature Loans

These people say the offer unsecured signature loans. They offered us a $10,000 loan and for this we only had to pay $1,000 application fees. We sent them $1,000 and the money was supposed to be transferred to our account within two or three hours.

The next day we had a phone message from someone else in the company saying the "lender" wanted an additional $1,000. We did not have this, but borrowed $600 from our credit cards. When they received the money, our loan was to be transferred within two hours.

We had questioned the validity of this company but they told us that they represent private American lenders, generally individuals, who are looking for a secure method of investing their money. As it turns out, they are just in the business of ripping people off for $1,000 or $2,000 and then not returning phone calls.
