Ripoff check cashing work at home scam BEWARE Amsterdam

BEWARE of this company! I fell for their scam and now I am out over $9000. Times are hard and I am a single mother raising 2 girls under the age of 2. I was looking for a stay at home position which would allow me to pay the bills, plus raise my children. Now it is costing me every bloody dime I earn to pay the bank back. This company sounds so very legit with their well worded and professional approach anyone can fall for this.

Their 'client' in the states sends you a check, mine was from a company called C-Core.net Corp. Out of State College, PA, however the Fed-Ex envelope came from NY. Then I cashed the check, at the bank from which they were written, (Citizens Bank), thinking it would expedite the process and plus thinking the bank would make sure the funds were available before giving me the money.

Well, the bank checked and the funds were indeed in the account at the time, but 4 weeks and 2 checks later I get a notice from the bank stating there is no such company or account number with their bank or any other bank. I do not know why the bank gave me the funds for which I am in dispute over at this time. Meanwhile I did notify the Secret Service and FBI and for some odd reason the FBI said they would only investigate it if there were more reports against this company. VERY DISAPPOINTING! So if you have fallen for this scam PLEASE PLEASE don't be too embarassed or scared to notify the authorities (FBI, Secret Service). We need to stop these people and stop them NOW!
