Harrasment on collection of 15 year old debt that cannot be verified

To keep this very simple they tell me i had an account with a bank 15 years ago but dont have any proof i get a phone call every so often at whicch time i remind them they are not allowed to contact unless it is in writing. I called this bank i was suppose to have the account with directly and asked how far back they could check and i was told that i NEVER had an account with them... Look i will be quit frank cause im not going to get bent out of shape we all know that this company is a rippoff (choosing my word cause i dont want to get in trouble) and they are ruining peoples lives to make a dollar.

First of all is that even legal to attempt collection after 7 years much less 15years.

I would love nothing more than to see a massive lawsuit where the people who were done wrong actually get some of the proceeds. For example everyone in SC who has been rippedoff by these people need to file a lawsuit against them together and make it as public as possable like national news public lets get some news reporting on what kind of company they are and who they do business with or lets get the goverment involved. Apparently no one is paying attention they need to be shutdown.

1 lawsuit per state if it could be done this way im no attorny but i think every state has different laws.

I had the idea just have no clue how to put it into motion.
