Took money for appraiser and never called back!

This company charged our credit card 500.00 for an appraiser as we wanted to refinance our home. We were dealing with one associate named Jason and he never returned any phone calls!
Needless to say we talked to somebody "higher up", and never got a returned phone call back after that. So long story short we have no idea what our house was appraised at or if it was even done, they have our money, and refuse to contact us back. It has now been about a year!
