Green Dot Reload Pack My Money Held 96hrs Store Policy Not Posted No Knowledge

Hello all,

I needed to purchase some Green Dot MoneyPak reload cards. You can find them at sevral retailers. Walgreens, CVS, and Speedway are a few retailers who carry the reload cards. My goal was to add $2400.00 to my Green Dot Debit Card, and make a purchase the next day. Walgreens happened to be the closest retailer to my home, and since I was walking, Walgreens seemed like a good idea.
At Walgreens, I got 4 MoneyPak reload packs. They have a limit of $500 each. I use the MoneyPak's all the time. So, I get home and begin to load the MoneyPak's to my Green Dot debit card. I had a MoneyPak that I had previously purchased from another store, so I loaded that one first. I then loaded my first Walgreens MoneyPak to my card. Everything was fine. I scratched my 2nd Walgreens MoneyPak and started entering the numbers to the Green Dot website. I finished entering the numbers and the security code, pressed enter, and I was halted by the system. LeWalgreens had implemented a policy that limits the use of MoneyPaks purchased from their stores. You can only add one MoneyPak to a prepaid debit card in a 24hr period. Meaning that, since I had purchased 4 of the MoneyPaks, I would not be able to access my money until TUESDAY!!!
This was completely unacceptible. The store manager, nor the cashier, had mentioned anything about this when I was purchasing the MoneyPaks. I know this now, because when i returned to the Walgreens the next day, the store manager had the deer in headlights look on his face when I told him what had happened. This policy was not published near the MoneyPaks or at the Cash Register. I would simply have purchased the cards from another retailer.
