CAMCO - Capital Aquisition And Management Corporation I suspect they called my husband at midnight from the rep's home

My sister is a victim of this company! She called me today to tell me about a "collection agency" that has been harrassing her for months and months on a debt she owed over 10 years ago. She thought this to be legal so did nothing but tell them she could not pay.

The last conversation she had with the rep (6/9/04) he eluded that he was going to come to her home and confront her in a very threatening manner, naming local establishments in her neighborhood which terrified & shocked her as she has a family and small child. Very curiously a man sounding similar to the rep she spoke to that day, called her home after 12:00 am that same night (early morning) & asked her husband for her by first name only.

When he was questioned about the nature of the call he continued to ask for her but would not state who it was & subsequently hung up the phone. My sister is sure it was the rep she spoke to earlier from CAMCO. This rep has told my sister to get welfare to pay them "or else". I am wondering if anyone else has received middle of the night calls or other curious behavior while dealing with this horrific & grossly illegal companies collections tactics? PLEASE write if you have, we will be taking this as far as we can. All other tactics written have also occurred to my sister...
