Deposit Held Until Tuesday Caused Bounced Wal-Mart Check

Well, BB&T is a big rip-off. My husband and I have more problems with that bank. We have to work to pay for checks that bounce.

About a year ago we started getting mail from them saying we had bounced some checks, and we could not see how. But we paid it and went on. Two weeks later we bounced some more. Well, that didn't end it. I deposited my check on Thursday. The checking account was fine. I went to Wal-Mart and wrote a check for 20.23, and it bounced, and the money was in there. They had my money.

They told us the deposit was made on the next business day.

Okay, I deposited it Thursday, so it should be in there Friday. It got in there Tuesday. Hello, I don't need a checking account that holds my money. I can do that myself. The bank gave us an 800 number. Well, they act like it's your fault even when they have your money. That bank is not good for anything but taking people's money with their NSF fees. So anyone banking with them better look out. They're not there to help you. They are there to rip you off.
