I have attended Kaplan University online since march. I have had no problems with financial aid until just recently. I understand that they cannot release any kind of excess amount to the student until the loans have been processed. My loans have been processed last week on the 12/29. Just wanted to mention that I have a credit on my account right now. When we start our new term, it takes up to four weeks to release the amount. Today marks the fourth week mark, and still no check from the school. I called the school to figure out when I will be due a check and they told me that they have no record about me getting a check. Then after about a thirty minute hold, they tell me that it may take another three days to process the ticket that they put on my account and then after that may take another seven days to send me the check. I am almost done with the school to get my degree. I should not have to wait this long when it has not taken that long to send me a check before. Whats the point in going to school?
