The furnace and a/c company I used to install necessary new equipment in my old house unfortunately uses HRS USA customer financing. The 6 months of no interest, no payments NEVER HAPPENED; I was paying interest and payments from the very first. Also, they make their due dates at impossible days and times (such as New Year's Day, when they obviously won't be getting any mail), and then still charge you the late fee if you don't get it there on time. My rate once the 6 months had passed was supposed to be 13.9; I was charged 17.9.in other words, nothing they promised was true!

I have an excellent credit rating and am not used to being treated like this. I suffered through more than a year of making regular payments and still often getting charged a late fee. I finally was able to borrow money from my stepfather to pay off this debt, and will be closing the account as soon as I can. I hope to never encounter another company like this.
