Costa Rica Mob Attempted to rip off / tried to scam but failed/Here's how I got out of it

Many people, like myself, do not realize they have rights. Thank God - I was one of the lucky ones. I caught on to this scam before they took me to the cleaners. On a 600.00 loan, I was fully aware there would be interest, as I have dealt with payday loans before. But, this company is in fact a loan shark and worse. It's almost like the mafia.

I ended up paying around 800.00 on a 600.00 loan, which I thought was fair. However, the loan was still not satisfied - they wanted 750.00 more to get me out from under it!!!

The important thing is to have a bank that works with you. At first, my bank did not want to close my account out. It is important to MAKE SURE you are SPEAKING WITH A MANAGER at your bank. NOT a loan officer - they will tell you to pay the ridiculous loan by allowing them to fund you a loan, and pay them back instead. All that does is creat another loan at your bank.
