In mid october i received a congratulations letter, along with what looks like a credit card with my name on the front along with an account number and a "good thru" 11/02 date. The company name on the letter is: c.C.A. (then underneath reads:) credit service division, p.O. Box 46101, las vegas, nv. 89114-6101. The phone number 800-277-7056.

The name on what appears to look like a credit card is: first national 1 card. Also theres a sticker on the card that reads: your cca first national membercard has arrived. This card cannot be used until activated. To activate call: 1-800-277-7056. Anyway this letter informs me that i have been approved for $6,500.00 credit purchas limit, along with cash on demand approval that never has a service fee and is interest free up to $500.00.

The remainder of this letter front and back goes on & on about benifits, associated fees, auto payment service, member package. It does not once mention the web-site for this on-line shopping nor any web site address.

Now you think a company who engages in the business of home shopping via on the internet (as their letter says) would have some sort of website address mentioned.

It also states under the clause for cash on demand that the cash on demand is offered by: allstate check cashing, referred to as a.C.C., for cca members who have the cash on demand card issued directly from acc, you will receive this check cashing card once you receive your first national merchant card. (notice i didnt type first national 1 merchant card as its reads on the credit card) it also states note: allstate check cashing does not service nevada residents as in compliance with n.R.S. 604.0902 (f).

Gee homebased out of neveda but yet it cant offer the cash on demand benefits for anyone who lives in state they are based out of. And besides... I cant seem to find any allstate check cashing service located in san diego!!! Nor can i find any thing on the internet linked to these company names ive told you about. Except for the rip off letter someone else wrote to you about under the name capital credit alliance in reference to a bad phone number. And two last things i'd like to also point out.

#1 on the back bottom of this letter the very last paragraph reads in small print: the information described in this letter is accurate as of the date of printing september 27.

#2. It also states the following in which i thought was very unprofessional and cheap. It says call toll free (the #) or (the local #) to activate your membercard to the cca shopping network... If busy keep trying!

Come on, really! A real company especially one whos approving me or any one for $6,500. Oo (that i never applied for in the first place) can at least have many lines spliting off of their 800 number with operators standing buy.

I cant even get credit with the ice cream man in our neighborhood let alone any other credit card, ive got the worst credit history in history. If you should find out i am wrong about this please... Email me right away as i'd love to do 6,500.00 worth of shopping on line. Thanks, d. Taylor.
