Business & Finance

I have made NO investment, outside of research time, into this company and must admit that the offer was quite tempting. My particular offer of "opportunity" arrived with a South Florida PDC postmark on April 21st with an invitation to earn "from $550-$3,500. I would need to fill out their registration form and send an amount of money to them (i.E.-send $55.00 to receive 55 catalogs, for which you will, in turn, be paid $550.00 for folding the catalogs, affixing the mailing labels that are sent along with the catalogs onto the catalogs, purchasing your own postage, with the promise of being reimbursed for postage (a postage reimbursement form is included), affix the postage onto the catalogs and ship all of the catalogs-altogether-back to the company.

They promise to remit a paycheck, upon receipt of the catalogs, and to refund the fee with the 4rth paycheck. They promise $750.00 for 75 catalogs-with a fee of $75.00, $1,100.00 for 110 catalogs-with a fee of $110.00 or $3,500.00 for 350 catalogs-with a fee of $159.00. Categories are listed as 'group 1', 'group 2', 'group 3' and 'group 4').

I see four red flags here:
1) this company lists a telephone number, with a very pleasant outgoing message, but with no option for receiving incoming messages.

2) Nothing can be sent via 'certified mail' or 'return/receipt' to a P.O. Box. A street address MUST be supplied, in order to send anything 'certified' or 'return/receipt'.

3) A letter that is signed, ' Sincerely Yours,
President'
but, with no name above the title, 'President' is improper text.

4) I have always been discouraged by companies to EVER send cash in the mail. This company promises to send supplies within five days, when payment via cash or money order is made, and that a personal check will up the waiting ante of sending out materials to ten days, BUT... As a 'special incentive plan' to their new mailers, all group 4 packages will be shipped within three days that they receive your order, for the next two weeks'.

This is fine and well for someone to try if they are of this mindset: 'well, I'll go ahead and send 'em a check for $110.00 and see what happens... If I'm out $110.00.. Then... I'm out $110.00. End of story. One last note: whether or not we get into Heaven will depend, in large part, upon our conduct here on earth. I hope that this company has nothing more than a time-delay situation, which, in and of itself, can be a vexation.
