Ripoff total scam

In January I was contacted regarding an $8500 credit line on an unsecured credit card. I was told that I had a one time fee of $199 which included some sort of processing fee so, like an idiot, I agreed and I had to give them my bank account information, which I reluctantly did.

When I questioned why they needed my bank account information, it was explained that this was the only form of payment they excepted for the one time charge. Sure enough, a few days passed and the $199 was taken from my bank account. About a month passed and I got this package in the mail with 2 catalogs, in which I could purchase anything out of these catalogs with my 'unsecured' credit card. So, I threw the catalogs away because everything was excessively priced. Just the other day, I reviewed my bank account online and found where they had debited two additional charges of $99.99 from my account. I was able to stop payment on the charges and each time I called the phone number listed, I was immediately sent to an answering message asking me to hold the line and someone would be with me immediately.

Wouldn't you know that after about 5 minutes, the phone disconnected and nobody ever came on the line. I attempted to call this company several times that day and a I continued to get the same thing. A recording asking me to hold followed by dead air where the line was disconnected. I finally got them to answer the phone today and asked why in the world an additional $199.98 tried to clear my bank and I was told that I authorized them to do this monthly (which I doubt I ever did!) and this fee was for "Credit Protection". Can you believe that? $99.99 monthly for credit protection. Wouldn't you think we need credit protection from them???!!!

Anyway... Beware of them. Beware! Beware! Beware!
