Adjustable Life Insurance is a big rip off for senior citizens

When we were young rasing our family we had whole life with this company, 26 years ago they started selling adjustable life. They talked us into doing away with our whole life policlies and going wth this, They never told us that the premiuns would keep going up each year, here we are at 69 years of age and in order to keep the policies in force its like over $500 a month for one, and it keeps going up each year, it started out 26 years ago at a little over $100 a month. We have paid into this company since 1965 for insurance and now we are slowly losing our insurance because we cannot afford to pay these monthly premiuns, we tried to change to a different policy that the premiun would stay the same, they denied us because of health issues. It is my understanding that there are a lot of seniors out there that are having the same problem as we are. I feel like this company knew what they were doing when they changed all these whole life policies, they could see what was going to happen down the road. I feel like I am drowning here, sooner than later the policy will lapse and we will have paid all these thousands of dollars over the years and end up with no insurance.
