They tok my car because i was late on a payment, and when i called them and said i have the money they went up on the price, so i got that amount and they still holding the car!

I went in Loan Depot in July to get a loan for 1500, the bill was due on Aug. 6, I was admitted into the hospital on July 30-Aug. 3. They did not receive payment because I had surgury could not drive around nor did I have the money then. They picked up the car on Aug. 17 because of no payment no problem, but the next day I called telling them I have the money now they charge me 3000 to clear the account! I told them I didn't have that and they said at first if I pay 849 dollars I can get the car, then I said okay I have that the next time I called they said 1005 dollars I went up there on Aug. 19,201 they we can not realese the car to you because its under investigation something went on with a neighbor and a tow truck driver. I said I don't know what's going on they we don't either but you can retrieve your things out of the car if you would like! I said no ma'am I want my car I have the money y'all said I had to come up with and what went on I don't have anything to do with they say since your name on the account your responsible. Please help me because these people are a rip off!!!
