Financial salesman and financial predator Unprofessional investment predator, takes advantage of his clients trust

Investment experts and peers consider Brian N Mallard of Saskatoon to be one of the more dangerous investment predators in Canada.

When one former employee, Kent Shirley, took action to tell authorities of Mallard's financial predation of customers, bringing evidence to police and regulators (Calgary Court of Queens Bench action 0401-16581) Mallard spent $1 million (by his own estimates) to prevent the threaten and intimdate any and all parties, and to prevent the evidence against him from ever seeing the light of day.

Evidence that described Mallard violating the trust of his customers for more commissions and for shares in Assante. Evidence that described Mallard placing 80% of customer investments into Assante house brand mutual funds to earn secret hidden bonus Assante shares. (secret commissions a criminal offense in Canada) Assante house brand funds with much higher fees, commissions and lower performance to the investor. The big win is for the Assante company and for it's less scrupulous salesmen, gaining secret bonus payoffs in Assante shares for each level of clients asset they convert to the expensive funds. Assante wins by selling itself to Sun Life for over $800 million. Everyone wins EXCEPT the customer who trusted people like Brian N Mallard.

Forgery, fraud, etc, etc all show in the employees evidence. All suppresed with $1 millon, intimidation and an unethical lawyer.

His former employee was subjected to search and invasion of his home, with an improperly obtained order (anton piller) done without his knowledge, ordering him to turn over all evidence of criminal wrongdoing by Mallard. He was beaten by the lies that $1 million can buy.

He took his own life shortly therafter, on Christmas eve. Those who know Mallard and have worked with him in the past asw an insurance salesman, then investment seller, refer to him as a "little Hitler". His litiguous propensity in Saskatoon court is legendary.

Mallard is a man to be avoided. His nature is to win at any cost, legal or illegal. Trusting him is not recommended. He has had his CFP license terminated. Been fired by Assante. Is now suing the Mutual Fund Dealers assn of Canada, and the Saskatchewan financial services commission to further intimidate and threaten with his money and his chosen type of lawyers.
