SecureDoc Ripped off by Secure Doc / Securedoc!

SecureDoc took our money! We have paid them $ 2295 with a promise that if they do not succeed in getting us a loan modification within (I think it was) 6-months, we'd get our money back. I spoke with the person on teh phone at the tiem and he did concede that there would be a few hundred held back for some filing costs or something. That made us feel comfortable and we paid them.
Secure doc kept asking for documents over documents, statements, pay stubs, etc. When we felt that this is starting to become a run-around (around March - a year after paying them the initial amount of $ 2295), we emailed them that we want to opt out and asked for a refund. We have not heard from them, nor do they respond to emails.
Their money back guarantee specifically states that if we wish to opt out, we must write to the, which we did.
Can someone help? Money is important at times like these but we would like to see the rip off artists brought to justice.
