I got a call from Alex Connor claiming to be an attorney with Peter C. Bronstien Law Firm. He told me that there was a court case against me and that I had to be in court on Monday. He stated that owed 1400 dollars for a pay day loan with Sonic Cash Advance.

I never had a loan with these people, he had my email account, address, and ssi number. Wanted me to fax a letter and apologize and pay 300 by credit card over the phone. I asked him can an arraignment be made and he sounded very fishy to me.

I googled searched the law firm that he claimed to calling from. When I contacted the law firm the clerk advised me that this was a major scam and that they are trying to get peoples information. I willl be contactign the local authorities and changing my bank information.

Please dont be fooled into giving themany information and always do your research. They almost scammed me, but I started looking. I will not be doing a pay day loan no matter how tight things get.
