Mortgage Relief Center is just another Florida boiler room masquerading as a legitimate business. They claim to have attorneys and thousands of satisfied clients. All totally false. They do most of your supposed loan mod work in house, which is illegal because they take up front money from you. Get a real attorney in your home town to deal with your mortgage.

"The Federal Trade Commission moved to protect distressed homeowners from the promoters of bogus foreclosure rescue and mortgage modification services by proposing a new rule that would forbid companies to charge up-front for these services.instead, companies could only collect payment after providing services."

"[i]f a [loan modification company] seeks to charge you anything or collects money upfront, it will be in violation of federal law and subject to harsh penalties." For loan modification companies to continue, they will have to "contact your lender or servicer and give you a written proposal describing the key changes to your mortgage terms that the note holder [usually your lender] is willing to make before any more money can be collected in advance." In essence, loan modification companies are will be required to complete a pre-loan modification modification, before they can execute a final loan modification, at which point, they may be paid for their services."

They get around that rule by paying an attorney to let them hide behind his name. Don't send your money to these crooks. You will lose your money and your home. These clowns are just another high pressure Florida boiler room
