WILL Take Your Money For A Credit Card. Card Nor Your $ Will Be Refunded! Took $300.00 from my savings for credit cards. I never got them nor my Money back ripoff

I was marketed by a representative from Consumer Network Services stating that they will send me a VISA and Mastercard with a $1700.00 credit limit on each. All I had to do was send them $299.00 dollars (originally $279.00 but I had them do it in two installments of $149.50). The last payment was taken from my account on 9/26/03 and I was told that I would receive the cards in 21 days.
I never got the cards. I received a packet in the mail called the "Member Benefit Package". It had two small booklets and 2 CD ROM's. There were no credit cards in there.
I called Consumer Network Services (CNS) and asked them what the heck the package was for? They said to call the 800 numbers listed and my cards will be released. I called the toll free numbers to the banking institutions and was denied the credit cards.
The Reps at the bank even said that they had nothing to do with CNS. They also informed me that they have had a lot of calls similar to mine.
I then called CNS back and told them I am returning their worthless product and I want my money back within a week of them receiving their package.
That has yet to happen. I sent the package back on 11/06/03. Today is 03/15/04. I still have not received my money. I have called these people nearly every day and have kept a detailed log of my conversations.
A lot of times you will not get through to them. But if you do they put you on hold and you get disconnected. Or, after they ask you when you sent the package back, they hang up on you.
I work for my money. I work hard for it. Where I live, something like this is called STEALING!!! I do not take this kindly and WILL get my money back one way or the other. I hope there are others out there who will stand with me.
