US bank loves steeling from hard working people!

US Bank is the biggest theif I have ever come across. We have been banking with them for about three years.

On February 16th I ordered a computer from Dell Computers.
The amount was pre-approved on my debit card.

I had the money in the bank so it was approved. The salesperson at Dell told me the funds would not be charged until the computer was shipped. The date she gave me for shippment was March 2.

I knew my pay check was going to be electronically deposited before then so I made other small purchases with my card. When I went on the internet my balance showed positive even after the computer funds had been taked out.

They started charging us overdraft fees because they said that we had had the pre approval for the computer and those funds were not available. Even though the money was still in the bank.

We went into the branch and said they could not reverse the charges because it was not a bank error.

Of course this snowballed and we had even more charges the next few days. We ended up with over 600.00 in overdraft charges.

Well I am not a rich man. My wife is on dialysis 5 times a week to stay alive. She cannot work. We live paycheck to paycheck and have three children.

This is not the only time we have had problems with this bank.

If you have 5 transactions going through in a day, Lets say one for a cup of coffee, gas, lunch, or even a newspaper, and then you have one for 200.00, they will pay the largest amount first and if you maybe didn't get to the bank on time for some reason and did not have sufficient funds for all of those transactions you will get charged $33.00 for each of the small transactions.
Hmmm! Why don't they pay the small ones and only charge you one overdraft charge for the larger transaction? This has happend many times to us. I go to work before the bank opens and do not get off of work until it is closed. It is hard for my wife to go sometimes because she is sick alot.

Well I think I have had my say. We are going to change banks because We are sick of being ripped-off!
